To family, friends, customers and clients of The Tiffin Brewery,
As there are inaccurate information and false accusations on social media about The Tiffin Brewery and my person, I would like to address a few things about the post and comments on the other page.
First of all, I am not responsible for any other page’s content.
I am not going to address any of my personal life and relationship. It is inappropriate to make it public as I have trust in the legal system to make it fair and for the best interest of my minor children.
As far as business, I have to state that I am the majority owner and managing member of The Tiffin Brewery per the Court’s Order. I feel like I should make a response to yesterday’s post on other page. Apparently, the minority owner has made false accusations and provided misled information on how the business has been managed and the future of the operation. The brewery is not for sale. Neither owners has the right to sell their shares. This will be determined by the Court.
The inventory is low. The taproom will be closed temporary at some point for re-stock and re-build. Due to various reasons, production has been decremental, not by my choice.
All the beers that have been brewed are my father’s recipes, mine and fellow brewers’ to whom I collaborated with. Also, I do believe that a true brewer has to have knowledge to create a working recipe and the ability to tweak it depending on the outcomes. The same exact recipe doesn’t work the same on every brewing system. The first and only two beers the minority owner ever brewed in September 2022 and November 2022 were based on my recipes. However, they did not come out as written or my previous brews. They became brand new beers.
Absolutely no reasonable option was offered to me as buy-out. I am very curious of what options other companies/individuals were offered to be my next business partner especially when there is no legit business evaluation to determine the value of each owner’s shares. I do understand that business evaluation is necessary before any buy-out offer being made. Unfortunately, I, the majority owner and managing member, wasn’t able to obtain a business evaluation without an agreement from the minority owner.
I am sad that it has come to this point with the business. However, I am excited for the new chapter of my life and hoping to continue to bring you all of my brews and more.
