The community voted, and Amanda Byrd of Something for your SOUL is our inaugural Seneca Launchpad People’s Choice Award winner! 🏆

For Amanda, food is about bringing people together. Through her curated charcuterie business, she is creating opportunities for people to gather, enjoy new flavors and connect around the table. Her work through the Tiffin Community Kitchen has helped her grow that vision, with plans to eventually bring her boutique, food offerings and community programming together under one roof.

Amanda received the most community votes during last night’s finals at The Ritz Theatre. Along with her People’s Choice recognition and an additional $100 award, she will receive all the funds raised through the votes cast for her business. Every vote was a direct investment in what she is working to build!

Amanda, thank you for putting so much heart into serving our community. Congratulations on this recognition, and thank you to everyone who stepped forward to support her!

Let’s pack The Ritz Theatre THIS THURSDAY for the Seneca Launchpad Finals!

Four local businesses will take the stage to share their stories and compete for more than $10,000 in prizes and business support: Pan Yan Bookstore, DRIP Juicery Co., Something for your SOUL, and Copy That.

Come meet the finalists in the lobby, hear their pitches, and help select the People’s Choice winner through live audience voting. These entrepreneurs have put in the work, and now it’s our community’s turn to show up and cheer them on!

Big things happening for Something for Your SOUL ✨

I’m excited (and a little nervous!) to share that I’ll be competing in The Launch Pad Pitch Contest with Seneca County!

This is such an exciting opportunity to share the heart behind Something for Your SOUL, how it’s grown, and where I’m hoping to take it next.

What started as an idea rooted in food, connection, and community has become something I’m incredibly passionate about. ❤️

Seneca Launchpad Finals are getting closer! 🚀

Last night, our four finalists came together for Launch Lab #2 to continue refining their pitches and preparing for September 24. As part of the evening, Copy That, DRIP Juicery Co., Pan Yan Bookstore and Something for your SOUL had the opportunity to step onto the main stage at The Ritz Theatre, get a feel for the space and picture themselves presenting their businesses to a full theatre later this month.

The Finals will give each entrepreneur up to 10 minutes on stage to tell their story, share their vision and make the case for what comes next. A judging panel will score the finalists, with community voting also contributing to the final result.

Guests will also be able to meet the finalists in the lobby, learn more about their businesses and support their favorite entrepreneur through $5 community votes.

It all comes down to Thursday, September 24 at 6:30 p.m. at The Ritz Theatre. Four local entrepreneurs. One stage. More than $10,000 in prizes and business support on the line.

Supported by the Dysard Family Foundation, Seneca Launchpad was created to help entrepreneurs launch, grow and strengthen businesses right here in Seneca County. We cannot wait to see these four take the stage!

Seneca Launchpad is officially underway! 🚀

Last night, our inaugural Seneca Launchpad semi-finalists came together for their first Launch Lab as they prepare to take the next step in Seneca County’s first-ever countywide small business pitch competition!

The evening was all about learning, collaboration, and preparation. Participants worked on strengthening their pitches, refining their business stories, asking questions, and learning from one another as they prepare to present their businesses before our judging panel later this month.

A special thank you to Sarah Stephens Krupp and Renee Smith of Thrive Community Partners for facilitating the evening and sharing their expertise with our entrepreneurs!

One of our favorite parts of the night was seeing this group come together, not only to work on their own businesses, but to encourage, share ideas with, and support one another along the way. That’s what Seneca Launchpad is all about: creating opportunities for entrepreneurs and building a stronger small business community right here in Seneca County.
