Lewis Taylor began farming operations in Tifton, Georgia in the 1950's as a transplant producer for the Southeastern United States. Today Lewis Taylor Farms is one of the largest privately owned vegetable and greenhouse operations in the Southeast. LTF Greenhouses, LLC. currently has over 875,000 square feet of greenhouse growing space and a competent, experienced staff giving it the ability to pr

oduce over 275 million transplants annually and 750,000 square feet under pivot irrigation that produces 65 million containerized pine seedlings to satisfy the demand of producers and the wholesale market. Using the lastest technology,Lewis Taylor Farms has over 6500 acres in plasticulture and ground vegetable production. Quality Produce, one of our packing facitlity runs all of our dry veg, squash, eggplant, hot peppers, bell beppers, and cucumber, Spring Hill Produce packing facility specializes in cantaloupes, watermelons, tomatoes, honeydew, broccoli and greens. For rapid cooling to remove a large percentage of heat from the product, a state of art Hydro Cooler, slusher and clamshell icer are onsite as an integral part of the produce quality progam. Quality Produce, LLC. and Spring Hill, LLC. packing and cooling operations can accommodate fresh produce needs from the largest supermarket chains to the independent specialty markets. The packing lines operate both a place pack line and a volume fill line with the ability to fill over 1800 boxes of peppers or 900 boxes of cucumbers per hour. With the ability to pack, cool and store these volumes of produce, the customers are assured to receive only the highest quality products from Lewis Taylor Farms.
