Located in a beautiful mountain valley in Northeast Georgia, Stonewall Creek Vineyards produces artisan wines grown in ancient mountain soil. We planted our first 150 vines in 2005 and continued to plant the next four years for a total of 3,000 vines on five acres
-- all French vitis vinifera. We sold our harvests from 2008-2010, and with our 2011 harvest, we processed our first two wines. We opened our winery in August 2012 with a traditional-style rosé (Yukari) and a bold white (Boriana). In 2013, we released our first reds -- Cabernet Franc and a Malbec blend (Three Eagles). We currently offer six wines for tasting, four on our Stonewall Creek Vineyards label (grapes from our vineyards), and two on our Standing Deer Cellar label (grapes primarily from nearby The Stack Farm). The latter two feature the American Norton grape. Look for our new vines off Bridge Creek Road--Traminette, a French-American hybrid. Unlike a large winery, each year the wine we produce will be different depending on the weather and how the season allows each grape varietal to mature. Since we’re a cool climate vineyard, we’ll have our best red wines in years with a hot, dry summer. Bring a picnic lunch, taste our wines, and enjoy our mountain views. Our Open Hours:
May- Nov. Thursday - Monday 12:30-5:00 PM
December to April 30. Friday - Monday 12:30-5 PM
