Congrats to us on Paco’s “Gotten Day”!

He has blessed us with his humor and kindness over the years…and sometimes frustrations. In all things he brings a joy to every day moments and for this we are grateful!

Honor him with a donation to The Longears Safehouse Fundraiser Page to help his donkey friends find their places, too.

A letter from our CEO to Barn2Door CEO

# # #

Ms Maiocco at Barn2Door:

Why is your company not ADA trained? If you are unable to support a disability then say so, refund my money so I will go elsewhere.

Your IT support is unable to assist with necessary website DNS edits and has been for months while I AM LOSING SALES. Your migration was flawed and I am paying the price - Unacceptable- all while I am trying to recover from major surgery.

Note:
- I AM BLIND
- I am on bed rest after a major surgery
- Your IT says they “have no phone” and unable or unwilling to edit the DNS records
- They have repeatedly ignored my disability limitations
- I spent $650 on a marketing mailer only to have potential customers call to tell me they can not order as the website is down
- The site is still not working properly AND the WP version I PAID for is not on my hosting platform but yours. That is NOT what I paid for!

I offered to give them access to my host provider as we did on sign up. They have refused and keep trying to make me do their jobs.

I do not work for you. Check your payroll.

You are out of service compliance and I have lost on conversions for a marketing campaign because of this.

That was $650 marketing campaign I could not afford to waste since - I DONATE - product as a practice and have narrow margins.

This is now THEFT!

Get all of your sh*te together, right now so I can feed neighbors and buy some gd hay.

Some of us did not vote for this nightmare and we are tired of shouldering the burden for those who did.

With No Ounce of Pitty,

Kerri Barber

*** Community, please join this call to action!"***

The idea of public parks being locked with codes only in neighborhoods of the poor and people of color seems like a serious discrimination lawsuit to me 🤔 unhoused, poor people, immigrants and people of color pay the taxes for this infrastructure so the idea they can be "locked out" and someone in city gov and a home owners association get to decide who gets access... well that seems like a very serious rights violation!
🤬🤬🤬

Hey ... uh ... Just remember a "beef product" is to beef what a Velveta "cheese product" is to cheese.

Yall be safe out there!

Happy Saturday! Please enjoy this short video of the new babies finding their feet. They are playing while aunties and cousins eat dinner.

The sheep gather in every evening for extra grain, minerals, and occasional hay so they can wind down in a safe space for the evening.

You can see Bloo, the shepherd dog, circling around to make sure the babies and our newest escape artist, 3 month old Adidas, are safe where they belong.

Maggy (Magnolia) had two big babies last night! It was a flurry of activity and somewhat difficult to corral them into the "Mommy" pen.

One of them was ready to rumble and happily challenged dad and us to head butts. 😀

They got fresh straw bedding this morning and mom is munching on all the food she can eat.

Congratulations, Maggie!

And everyone else?

The rest of the herd is off playing on the new bike track, zooming over ramps and jumps. Vrrrrooomm!!
