A couple dozen farm boxes out to our loyal subscribers’ doorsteps this morning, and this is what we are up to tonight.
We’re not cosplayers.
Honestly, we could do way more on the social media front to keep everyone updated, to give everyone their anecdotes on how “hard” our lives are running these 4 acres, or how cutesy and adorable our little homestead and animals are.
That’s not us.
The reality is, we are a 30 & 34 year old married couple with no kids, a Rottweiler, an abandoned litter of cats, a few acres, and a dream. We both work our asses off full time outside of the farm in demanding careers that we love and enjoy. When we’re not doing that, we are here. Making sure everything for months in advance is ready to go in our fields. Making sure our livestock is loved, healthy, and taken care of. If we get sick and can barely crawl out of bed after chugging enough DayQuil to barely feel a heartbeat, better get up, they’ve still gotta be fed. If Silas has a Diabetic seizure morning of delivery day, chug some OJ, and get ready to roll because our loyal customers need their food for the week. If one of us is coming back into town after an exhausting few day work conference, strap up your boots, because it’s time to help out your partner in this small business & in life.
We don’t take shortcuts in any aspect of our lives. We grow our crops and raise our animals 100% organically. We don’t use AI to write any of our posts, newsletters, or anything like that. All communication and products from us is directly from our hearts and firm belief that REAL is better.
Want to see it? Reach out and come schedule a time to hang out with us on the farm. We’ll give you a tour, pour you a drink, show you what we do. Want to be a part of it? Sign up for our weekly CSA on our website. We don’t charge any more than what you’d pay at the grocery store for an equivalent product. But it’s your neighbors growing it!
There’s no begging for money, no Gofundmes to propel our business forward, just a humble request to give us a shot. Let us grow you some food. Share in our joy, blood, sweat and tears. Come taste what Real is in the Lowcountry.
