Well the hens have started to ramp up egg production and are finally back to earning their keep. We have several dozen currently available . Both washed eggs and clean unwashed eggs are available.
We are offering eggscriptions this year for those who want to be sure their farm fresh pasture raised eggs are always available and ready to use. Please message for information on pick up of extra eggs and eggscriptions.
Prices are 6 dollars a dozen. Return the plastic egg carton and recieve a dollar off.

Been a while since I posted. All the farm animals are ejoying the cold and snow. I am not. Lol.

The emus have not been laying and the season is over soon so maybe next year as the mob size will be larger with the 3 that hatched last winter.

Being that spring is on the way we here at the farm are getting a jump on things. Incubators are being cleaned and checked and plans for the season are being made.

We hope to have pasture raised chicken and turkeys available after a round of processing some time in mid to late spring.

We have added to our flock with the addition of a pair of red golden pheasants that are absolutely beautiful. We cant wait until they are in their adult plumage.

Today I visited MERRILLS ON THE FARM in Milton to pick up a beautiful Royal palm hen (turkey) and 4 beautiful turkey poults. See the pictures down bellow. The beautiful tom is the parent of the poults.

Good morning all.
Fun morning here at the farm.
The puppy had some fun chasing one of our turkeys. The turkey ended up in the river.
Turkeys don't swim as well as ducks! Who knew!
Made it down to the bridge on Cross Mill rd before getting to shore. A not so quick kyak paddle down through the first set of fast moving water and we were back together. Wrapped her in a sweatshirt and she was good for the truck ride home. A failed attempt at paddling up the rapids had me in the truck and ready for the ride home as well. Lol.

I have chick's available. Various breeds message for details. An area power outage at a lakes region farm store gave me the opportunity to acquire 150 to 200 chick's. Some of the breeds are rohde island, red barred rock, austrolorpw cornish cross Americana mystique marans and several others that I haven't bothered to identify.

Well, went out to feed the goats and a momma had 1 kid up and around and 1still in the sack. Scooped up the little one dried it off and got it breathing with a vigorous rubbing and then let mom do the rest.
Both babies are attempting to nurse.

Couldn't get the phone out fast enough.

Spotted a bald eagle hovering over the river while drinking my coffee. Here it is flying off downstream towards Franklin
