I am trying to get better about taking pictures of my arrangements before I send them out the door, but with flowers like the peonies and ranunculus in these arrangements, they won't really hit their stride until later.

All flowers have different optimal harvest windows and peonies and ranunculus are best picked before they are fully open. This better protects them from bug, wind, and water damage and makes it less likely that they have been pollinated (meaning a longer lasting flower that hasn't been signaled to go to seed). I pick them ahead of their peak beauty, but they will continue to open and become even more beautiful in the vase! Optimal vase life and beauty for you ❤️

The last two pictures give a little glimpse into the magic of the fully open blooms✨

The best little helper 🥰

Peonies are finally hitting their stride and it gives me much joy to go out and pick them several times a day! Now if only I hadn't planted them at the highest point on our property, while our house is at the bottom 😅

One lone cutie at the stand today! I know people have been anxious to see a full flower stand, and the day is coming soon ❤️ with Teacher Appreciation week, the week leading up to Mother's Day, supplying some flowers for an event, regular subscriptions and cooler weather slowing down the flower growth, my supply of extras is a bit slim!

Bit fear not, there will be flowers to go around this weekend for all your Mother's Day needs!

Thank you, flower friends!

When ordering a few more dahlias this season, I saw these beauties and just had to have them 🤩 as with many of the more popular varieties, they only shipped in a larger quantity than what I needed (or have space for!), so lucky for you, I'm selling the excess!

If you would like a tuber (or several!), I'm asking $10 each. Send me a message and we can work out the details. The shipment arrives today, but I can hold onto the tubers for a couple weeks before they need to get in the ground.

Happy gardening friends!!

Did I intend to let these blow open out in the beds? No.
Am I sad that they now will live in my house? Also no.

I'll just call them my reward for actually getting some indoor house work done while the baby took a mega nap! 😅

Easter may be early this year, but tulips are ready to go! The flower stand is making its seasonal debut on Friday morning at Merge Coffee Company on Mt Clinton Pike and I'm always open to special requests. If you want one reserved for you, just shoot me a DM and I'll have one with your name on it ☺️
