The muscovies have decided that it is hatching season! The Tufted Roman goslings have also been hatching well. There's even a spare male emu. These guys are eager to find new yards to occupy. It's been a late start to the season for us, but we finally do have a few ducklings out! Hatches will increase over the next few weeks on these guys. Our female emu also decided to start laying way after the breeding season should have occured, so while we will incubate these and see what happens, we aren't holding our breath!

We have a few fancy pullets at the point of lay! There are 7 midnight majesty marans, two easter eggers, a barred rock, and a freedom ranger. We've gotten brown 4-5 eggs out of the pen so far (the easter eggers will be a bit later to lay).

We also have lots of chicks,a few older layers, meat roosters, and ducklings very soon!
