Buck down! We watched this buck at 260 yards out in a wheat field. What seemed like a long 45 mins later he came into about 115 yards and we were able to get a quick ethical shot and was able to get a great harvest 🇺🇸

Nothing better than getting some beautiful pheasants after a successful deer hunt in the same day! Some great family friends gave us a good spot to check out and we limited out within an hour! Nothing better than getting out and enjoying an upland hunt! 🇺🇸

Mike has put the most hours and dedication this year. It’s been a long bow hunt the last few weeks. We predicted that this day would be the best day for peak rut and buck movement. With temperatures dropping 20 degrees from what normal days were. We had a rain storm come through but due to our elevation, we had a nice dusting of snow for the morning hunt with a high of 31 degrees. Over 2 weeks of dedication and patience, he was able to take beautiful buck that we have never seen on our trail cams. Never can predict what the rut will bring you! Congrats and great shooting!🇺🇸

What a story with this deer… Just after first light was able to take a great quartering away shot, buck ran about 40 yards before disappearing into some thick autumn olive. Gave the deer 3 hours post shot thinking it was a good lethal shot. Ending up bumping the deers first bed, backed out and gave another 4 hours. Roughly 7 hours post shot we tracked again, crawling on hands and knees following a blood trail through a maze of thick cover. Mind you this is prime bear and coyote country. Came out to a clearing and track some more where we bumped his second bed. Backing out again and giving this buck the night. The next day after a major rain storm, tracking drop by drop of blood, we began to feel hopeless of recovery. We slowly were able to find small tracks and more blood which lead to a successful recovery of this buck, almost 16 hours. Strong determination and confidence in the initial shot and key factors along the tracking path lead us the believe this deer was not far. After further analysis we found this deer was lung shot, with a slight heart laceration but he still traveled 500 yards until he expired. You can never underestimate these wild animals. It wasn’t easy but in the end our hunters ended up successful! Another buck down and meat in the freezer🇺🇸

We got a deer down today. One of our target bucks for this season, with the rut just starting and crucial camera monitoring we were able to pinpoint this buck to a general area where we had multiple opportunities of getting a good shot at him. Nothing better than a fall bow hunt and being able to fill your tag🇺🇸
