If you’ve never been to the Grange Fair in Centre Hall, PA… what are you even doing?! 😂🎡
This fair is HUGE and has a little bit of everything—rides, animals, exhibits, vendors, entertainment, and of course… FOOD. Lots and lots of glorious fair food. 😋
If you’re free this Saturday, load up the family and come make a day of it!
And while you’re wandering around, follow the smell of crispy, cheesy goodness until you find your favorite Fried Cheese Curd truck. 🧀🤤

The Centre County Grange Fair returns to Centre Hall from August 21 through 29, bringing nine days of livestock shows, carnival rides, live entertainment, fair food and one of Pennsylvania’s most remarkable traditions. Known as the only remaining tenting fair in the United States, the grounds become a temporary hometown filled with roughly 1,000 tents and 1,500 RVs. Many families stay for the entire fair, turning the event into a weeklong reunion passed down through generations.
While you are in the area, I recommend showing some love to the local businesses beyond the fairgrounds. Earlystown Diner is a family-owned spot serving made-from-scratch comfort food, making it a great place for breakfast before a long fair day. I would also check out Burkholder’s Country Market in nearby Spring Mills, a family-owned Penns Valley grocery known for its deli, bulk foods and friendly small-town feel.
