Ever wonder the WHY behind the 65Roses?!
Our oldest daughter, Sofia, was born with a genetic disease called Cystic Fibrosis.
The "65 Roses" story dates back to 1965 when an observant 4-year-old, Richard "Ricky" Weiss, hearing the name of his disease for the first time, pronounced cystic fibrosis as "65 Roses." Today, "65 Roses" is a term often used by young children with Cystic Fibrosis to pronounce the name of their disease.
Not only are we passionate about selling you some dynamite show goats, but we’re just as passionate about fighting for a cure for our daughter by being loud advocates to help CF STAND FOR CURE FOUND!
We wanted to take this time to thank everyone who has supported our family along this journey through donations, friendships, coming to checkout our stock, and by asking the questions—we love to educate, and when we educate we advocate even louder!
We are raising money for Sofia’s Great Strides team—Striding For Sofia Rose, and if you feel inclined her donation link is below! Bless you all & be sure to stop out this spring to see our lineup ❤️🌹💜
