Naughty Goat Acres Selena is bouncing back quickly after delivering 2 beautiful doelings with sire Naughty Goat Acres Knockout.

So many pretty red baby goats on our farm. Naughty Goat Acres Flicker is a doeling out of Naughty Goat Acres Spitfire and PGCH Woody Creek Farm Inferno.

Naughty Goat Acres Lucky is the last born baby in a whopper of a kidding season. This handsome 2 day old buckling was born to Mar-Bob Fantasia and NRCH PGCH Naughty Goat Acres Fugitive. He earned his name after being born in the wee hours of the morning under the watchful eyes of two bumbling farm hands. He needed some extra help and the aged farm hands are usually snoring at this time of night. As luck would have it, we were there so now he is here. Love this big bundle of cuteness! He’s long, he’s big, he’s Lucky.🍀

My morning walk down the hill to feed our young does, open does and wether. Today we trotted down between rain storms.

Well that’s clever! NGA Knockout flipped the water bucket and made himself a dry place to stand amongst the mud. We’ve had about 11 inches of rain recently and are knee-deep in mud up on our hills. Our creek left its banks and flooded our alfalfa fields in the lowland.

In episode 4 of the Naughty Goat Acres Maternity Games, NGA Spitfire contemplated the successes of those does who kidded before her and planned a strategy so daring that it has udder consequences lasting months. She proudly boasted, ‘I match you 3 doelings, Ariel, and raise you 1 buckling’. AND I snuck away and delivered them by MYSELF (dang that farm hand can’t count!) while HIDING in a hut! Now beat THAT Naughty Goat Acres does! All the remaining pregnant does fainted. Game over. Sire is PGCH Woody Creek Farm Inferno.

In episode 3 of the Naughty Goat Acres Maternity games, NGA Cinnamon Girl is an experienced doe who is not intrigued by sneaking out and delivering in outdoor goat huts with ‘poop dust’ floors. She chose a luxury kidding suite with deep straw bedding and to kid while ignoring the watchful eye of the bumbling farm hand. She independently delivered 2 bucklings and a doeling. Well done, oh magnificent momma! Sire is Stump Hills Bourbon. Pictured is her blue-eyed buckling.

In episode 2 of the NGA Maternity Games, our girly goat NGA Bedazzled, discovered a hidden feature by sneaking out of the barn and relying on the farm hand’s inept counting abilities to stay out all night. As the sun rose and all participants were being counted and recounted, the farm hand was bedazzled by the sight of a beautiful doe walking out of the llama’s hut with 2 bucklings and 1 doeling scampering behind. Although not a doeling trifecta, NGA Bedazzled is hoping to win the ‘Exceptional Performance by a Naughty Goat’ award. Sire is Oeltjenbruns’ Farms Silo.

Such a comfy place for a rainy Sunday nap. NGA Bedazzled’s son is chillin.
