Mini Cooper has been sneaking away to the buck pen in defiance of our decision not to ever breed her due to her difficulties at birth. We have caught her in time but now she is under lockdown. This morning NGA Tumbleweed, our wether, was moved to our pen with open does to escape the bucks in rut. He was immediately greeted by NGA Silhouette and Mini Cooper. Mini Cooper did her inspection, determined that he was not ‘in tact’ and marched right over to me to file a formal complaint.

It's so good to have patience when raising bucklings. Naughty Goat Acres Panther had a fabulous start when born on 10/31/25. A breeder put a deposit on him but then he hit an awkward stage and we stopped the sale. He's grown out since then and look at him now. He just sold, again, to the original buyer. Sire is Reserve National Champion Naughty Goat Acres Fugitive. Dam is a fantastic producer of show babies, Naughty Goat Acres Tesla.

While romping with Annie Poppins out on our trails, I started complaining about the daily rain and high humidity that has lasted for over a month making it impossible to cut and bale our alfalfa fields. ‘Dang it!’ I said to Annie. ‘Our fields are a weedy mess!’ She looked at me and started her own field maintenance.

I love the blue-eyed blacks and Naughty Goat Acres Simone is another young, feminine doeling who is growing out well. We sold her dam, Naughty Goat Acres Calliope (who we love!), and her sire, Naughty Goat Acres Bruno (who we love!). We will be selling more of our proven does late this year after they kid and wean their babies.
