Quick Foxy Update: After losing his brother and suffering a spinal injury this winter, Foxy was a bit down in the dumps physically and emotionally. Enter S’mores and Cinnamon, two sweet Kune girls. Now, Foxy has a spring in his “seal step” and a reason to oink.

We, chickens and humans alike, enjoyed a lovely day working in the garden. Daryl and JJ are the two remaining girls from our original flock, who grew up in our sunroom far longer than necessary. They stay very close when we work in the garden to peck up any unsuspecting invertebrates we unearth as we plant and w**d.

Get ready for a pumpkin-filled morning on the farm! Join us for a special Pumpkin-Themed Gardening & Cooking with Kids class at Apple Hart Farm. Families will help plant our pumpkin patch, bake delicious pumpkin muffins together, and plant a pumpkin seed to take home and nurture. We’ll also spend time feeding and caring for our friendly farm animals. It’s the perfect mix of hands-on gardening, cozy cooking, and farm fun for little ones and their grown-ups!
