Dusty Corner Farms focuses on strength of bone, muscle, and mind. It was important to us to breed a balanced horse with strong genetic health. One can not underestimate the importance of genetic health in the miniature horse. Some of our stock was chosen for their balanced conformation and because they have all the criteria we believe is needed to be a responsible breeder. We combine these to our

horses of famous lines to produce horses that reflect the breed standard. We feel this end result is a more genetically diverse pedigree with all the criteria to meet the breed standard. This equals a more genetically healthy animal. Our focus on balanced conformation comes from a one in a million horse athlete that we had until 2010. His profile is so embedded in our minds that each new foal is compared to him. We have no doubt that our horses would have a competitive edge in the show ring at any level. We believe our prices are competitive and our horses are of quality.
