The mysterious disappearance of Tremaine Michael Peek.
On November 19, 2007, 18-year-old Tremaine was on the phone with his girlfriend when she overheard him arguing with his roommates—then what sounded like a gunshot. He was never heard from again.

When his girlfriend rushed over, the roommates told her they had taken him to Wuesthoff Medical Center in Rockledge. But when Tremaine’s family checked, they discovered he hadn’t been admitted there—or to any other local hospital.

Allegedly, from unverified sources, traces of bl**d were found on the toilet seat inside his home. One of his roommates was reportedly arrested shortly after for an unrelated crime, later bonded out, and allegedly went on to rb and mrd*r another person—a crime for which they remain incarcerated today. The unidentified woman seen wiping the steps behind two men dragging a rolled-up carpet from the apartment has never been publicly identified.

Foul play is strongly suspected. Tremaine’s disappearance remains classified as a homicide.

This is the unsolved mrd*r of Mary Sue Cobb—and the wrongful conviction of a man who spent four years on Florida’s dth row.

On the morning of Friday, April 23, 1982, Marc Cobb grew increasingly worried when he couldn’t reach his wife, Mary Sue. The couple had planned to meet for lunch, but as the hours passed with no word, Marc’s concern deepened. That morning, Mary Sue had dropped him off at work. By midday, Marc asked his boss, Paul, for a ride back to their home on Main Street in Cocoa, Florida.

What awaited him was every husband’s nightmare. When Marc stepped inside, he found Mary Sue collapsed in the bedroom doorway—a knfe still lodged in her chest. The scene was brutal. Investigators later determined that Mary Sue had been grped, strngld, and stbbd seventeen times.

Forensic testing revealed non-motile sp*rmatozoa, belonging to a type O secretor. Both Marc and Paul shared that blood type, but the man police eventually charged did not. Still, investigators shifted their focus away from the evidence and toward an acquaintance the Cobbs had recently introduced to Amway, a direct-sales company. Despite the lack of physical evidence tying him to the crime, this man became the sole target of the Cocoa Police Department.

He was convicted and sentenced to d**th row, where he spent nearly four years before being exonerated. With his release, the investigation stalled, leaving no new suspects and no justice for Mary Sue.

To this day, more than four decades later, the m**rd*r of Mary Sue Cobb remains unsolved—a haunting case of violence, suspicion, and a justice system that failed both victim and accused.

This is the love triangle that resulted in the double hom*c*de of Anquanette Skanes and Lapriet Jordan. On the afternoon of May 22, 2011 Skanes’ friend “D” went over to her Titusville apartment to retrieve a hair tool. When she reached the apartment she found the door locked but one of the front windows open. After accessing the apartment “D” found Skanes face down. “D” thought Skanes was sleeping until she saw Jordan in the ground in a pool of 🩸. “D” left immediately and alerted police. Skanes was found to unclothed with a sh*tg*n wound to the back. Jordan was found to have multiple st*b wounds and had d**d from multiple sharp force injuries. “D” was able to give investigators their first big lead in the case: Anquanette and LaPriet were secretly dating. Neighbors of Skanes were able to provide further tips stating the last person scene near Skanes’ apartment was her boyfriend Larry Lee. Witnesses saw Lee in the early morning (approx 04:30) near Skanes front window. “D” was able relay that Skanes and Lee had been dating for years, the couple shared a child, and even though he had just been released from incarceration the relationship was “going good.” The next day officers attempted to locate Lee at his mother’s house where they also found a grey Kia Spectra that she confirmed was his. Upon further examination of the vehicle investigators noticed 🩸 stains on the exterior of the driver door. The car was towed until a search warrant was granted. During the search Lee’s cell phone was found however, due to the early stages of DNA testing the 🩸 found in the car was unable to yield results in 2011. Then, in 2016 DNA testing confirmed the stains in the car belonged to Lapriet Jordan. As DNA technology progressed so did GPS tracking for cellular data. Lee’s phone was later discovered to ping off two towers near Skanes apartment at the time of the m*rd*r. After 10 years Larry Lee was arrested and charged with the m*rd*ts of Anquanette Skanes and Lepriet Jordan. The cases is currently ongoing.
