Fa-La-La-La-La! Let's get into the holiday spirit this Sunday, Dec. 4, from 1 - 3 p.m. as small businesses on Petit Jean Mountain simultaneously hold Holiday Open Houses. Halls will be decked and fun at every stop from a live nativity scene to delicious treats and we hear that even Jolly Old St. Nick will make an appearance.

So, mark your calendars and plan on stopping by all the participating businesses this coming Sunday. (All businesses have been invited, we will let you know if there are any additions prior to Sunday).

It’s not by chance that Thanksgiving and Christmas are so close together and that Thanksgiving leads us into the Christmas season.
The season where we are reminded how impactful and important giving is.
I think firstly , we are to be thankful because thankful people are giving people and giving people are compassionate , sacrificial and humbly servants as Jesus called us to be.
If you are feeling down with all that has happened in your life ,first , look around at how richly God has blessed you and then , thank Him.
Secondly , do something to help someone else. A gift doesn’t have to be monetary . One of the greatest gifts we can give is our time...
The season of giving can be stressful but it won’t be if we are thankful...
Have a great thanksgiving and thank Jesus for Jesus and give Jesus to the world !
