We have lots of tomato and basil starter plants available. The tomatoes are getting so big and trying to grow out of my biodegradable pots already! I am thinking $4 a plant, but if you want several, we can work something out. All heirloom, non-GMO varieties and grown from seed. I will have some other herbs and plants available in a few weeks. The cold has some things off to a slower start.

Spring is in the air here at the farm. Time to really dig in and get things prepped and ready. Today we worked on a raised bed for our flowers, planted tomato seeds and got some brassicas, lettuces and greens planted. Still waiting on our root veggies to pop up any day. While we worked, the dogs sat around looking cute and the chickens did their chicken stuff.

I'm so sad! My "babies" finally started laying - 2 olive eggs today! But someone broke them before I could collect them ...

About our farm

Welcome to our family farm! We are family of 4 humans and lots and lots of animals! After living in suburbia for our whole lives (not including my husband who was lucky enough to grow up on some land), we knew we wanted and needed more. After searching for close to 2 years we found our little homestead that needed a lot of work! Moving in right after Christmas we got started on the house and prepared for chickens in the spring! As soon as spring came around we started with 8 little peeps and finished our coop up! We soon learned that chickens are a lot of fun and there are so many different varieties. I succumbed to chicken addiction and our flock has grown to over ..I’m not telling. We’ve added a couple of goats and bunnies to our family too. We’re living the dream out here, learning and doing new things everything!
