This isn’t something I would normally do because you know my stance on people, in general, but this is one of the hardest working and big hearted m effers I’ve ever met in my life. He’s been out of work for a few weeks and could really use a hand. I know only a couple of you know him, but I consider him family and your help would mean the world to me. Literally ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING will help him and his family. Thank you so much!!!

Hi, we are employees of GCH Concrete Services, and one of our family membe… Larry Brown needs your support for Wayde Paul’s Medical bills and monthly expenses

Was asked if the boys and myself might be interested this spring or summer in doing a presentation on beekeeping and the importance of bees to our survival, by a troop leader for the girl scouts. That would be pretty awesome!!!

Mid-winter inspection day. The ladies seem to be doing well. An overwintered hive can produce more honey in the upcoming harvest season. They also have a better chance of surviving the spring split. "Splitting" hives is where you make two or more hives out of one. Hives will overpopulate in the spring, running out of room, which causes them to swarm. If you can nip it in the bud, you'll be able keep those bees by relocating them into your own apiary instead of them migrating elsewhere.

I can't believe it's already time to start thinking about beekeeping season again. We're going to bee adding comb honey to the arsenal this year. So exciting!!!

A shot of the ladies on their orientation flight. Bees that were just introduced to a new home will use these flights to reset their internal gps to their new coordinates in relation to the sun's position. (The lid is not permanent...a new one is under construction). Thanks for looking!
