It's been awhile since I did a giant sandwich, but that ended last night with this behemoth!

Started with an Italian loaf of bread sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning. Then I layered it with roast beef, peppered turkey, pepperjack cheese, Walnut Creek veggie cheese (IYKYK), tomato, red onion, banana peppers, hot giardiniera, black olives, Duke's mayo, and herbed oil/vinegar. Then carefully rolled everything together and wrapped tightly in parchment paper.

This one will be considered for the best I've ever made.

Good afternoon! I apologize for my absence, not that either of my followers care, but it's been a stressful couple months and I haven't been blogging much. However, I have a lot saved up from the holidays and even before Thanksgiving. New content will be out this week, maybe even something this weekend. I have lived in the Toledo area for my entire life and somehow just tried the village idiot maumee pizza for the first time. I can honestly say that it's one of the best pies I've ever had. Remarkable. Based off unanimous suggestions to go with meatballs, that's what I did, along with whole roasted garlic. The garlic really took it to the next level.

Little known fact: tavern cut (rectangles) is the superior way of cutting a pizza, especially thin crust.

It's been a bit of a crazy couple weeks and I haven't kept up with this here blog. I apologize to the 8 people that follow me. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, survived shopping, and headed into the holidays with love, joy, and a belly full of great food.
