Peep Show Girl Layla has strutted in her last show. She was one of the original girls and made it to 9 1/2 years old. She ruled the coop from the time she was a 1 day old chick to her last day.

I am happy that she had yard time yesterday and passed over night in the coop. It’s never easy to lose a pet. Layla was a grand old dame and she going to be missed.

Here’s the update on the lingual nerve block. 4 am Saturday morning I was definitely regretting the decision. By 11 am that day my mind changed and I’ve been pain free for almost 4 days. It’s like Trigeminal Neuralgia doesn’t even exist anymore.

I have no idea on how long it lasts or how often it can be done. But it could be a life changer.

If you are starting out with facial pain, be on top
Of your drs to do something about it. Because for most people it spreads. If at all possible you want to stop that spread.

Which is often quite different than the insurance companies want to help you with. Be proactive.

Today was graduation day. I now am on a maintenance program for my bee and wasp allergy. No more weekly injections, I will now go every 4-6 weeks. I’m not going to go out of my way to get stung, but I do feel a little safer.

And that lingual nerve injection literally hit the spot. The nerve has been well behaved for 2 days. It’s hard to believe that it had taken 18 years to get to this point. But here I am. I’m always cautiously optimistic that there is some relief out there.

The pond. I love how nature has grown around it and done a great job of landscaping.

But I have to tear it out by tomorrow since the Buster cover arrives tomorrow.
