NOW HIRING: Part-Time Catering Event Setup Staff ✨

Michael’s Gourmet Catering is looking for reliable, detail-oriented team members to help set up catering events throughout the Toledo area!

This is a great part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help create beautiful, organized events. You’ll be part of the team that makes sure everything looks polished and ready before guests arrive. ✨

What You’ll Do:
• Set and drape tables
• Set place settings, silverware, glassware, and décor
• Set up and arrange buffet stations
• Assist with linens and event décor
• Help ensure tables and food stations are clean, organized, and presentation-ready
• Follow detailed setup instructions and event layouts
• Work efficiently as part of a team

What We’re Looking For:
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to follow directions and event diagrams
• Comfortable working on your feet and doing some lifting
• Professional and friendly
• Takes pride in creating a beautiful, finished product
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Event, catering, restaurant, hospitality, or banquet experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule:
🗓️ Part-time / Event-based

Most shifts are:
• Thursday & Friday mornings
• Some Saturday mornings
• Very occasional Sunday mornings

Hours vary depending on the event and setup requirements. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible part-time work, particularly someone who enjoys a schedule that is primarily during the week and on weekend mornings.

Michael's Gourmet Catering and Michael's Café & Bakery is looking for a dependable, motivated Line Cook to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in preparing high-quality food, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in both our café and bakery while also assisting with catering production for weddings, corporate events, and private functions. No two days are exactly the same!

Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
* Assist with catering food production and event preparation.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
* Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
* Assist with prep work, inventory, and stocking.
* Work efficiently during busy lunch, and catering service.
* Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
* Help with setup and breakdown for catering events as needed.
Qualifications
* Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
* Flexible schedule, including some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
