On August 30th, we had the pleasure of gathering at the magnificent private residence of Deidre and John, where an extraordinary evening of gastronomy, w**e, and conviviality unfolded in a truly spectacular setting.
Four distinguished chefs joined forces to create an exceptional culinary experience: Chef Marcel Hessling Marcel's , Chef Clinton Stanton of Toledo Country Club, Chef Jake Henry of Final Cut at Hollywood Casino, and Chef Josh Wagy of Farnsworth Cocktails and Oyster Bar.
Our evening began in a remarkable chef’s kitchen, a true dream for any culinary enthusiast before continuing downstairs in a beautifully recreated speakeasy, transporting us into another era. Each guest brought a bottle of w**e to share, turning the dinner into a delightful w**e tasting. The evening ended outdoors on the terrace, gathered around the warmth of the fire pit.
We cannot thank our gracious hosts, Deitra and John Hickley, enough for opening their extraordinary home to us and allowing us to host such a memorable evening in this truly remarkable setting. Their generosity and hospitality made the occasion all the more special.
