Over the past few weeks, we’ve had a pair of ospreys determined to nest on our farm. They made numerous attempts to build on Oakdale Electric’s power pole and even tried building on Henry's Dragline Service LLC drag line boom. We built a platform, and with help from Oakdale Electric, we put up a new nest. It looks like these beautiful birds have decided to use it!  Thank you to Oakdale Electric Cooperative for working with us to find a solution that works for everyone, including the birds!

Today our talented crew helped us plant a bed of a new cross of Badgers X SuperStar. This mid-season variety has the largest fruit we have ever seen!

We are renovating three beds this year. Two beds will be planted into the Badger variety and one bed will be planted into a promising new Badger by Superstar cross.

Have a look at new photos of our hybrids available for 2025 (Crimson King, BGs, Pilgrim King, Badgers, Midnights, Granite Red, SuperStar). We are excited that all the varieties look great, even after a record crop last year. The Crimson King photos were taken from one of the highest-yielding beds in 2023.
