Thank you to everyone who made it out! What a ride, from wildfire smoke obscuring opening week, to a hail storm last day of the season! I thought it was neat to see this nest in progress in one of the blueberry bushes!

The berries are great in the far three rows today!

We have to leave early today. Don't wait around until we get back. Enjoy the berries!

Cheers to Summer Sunsets! If you want a pop of color to go with your blueberry treats, you can pick a bouquet of flowers to set it off! We didn't even get to the rudbeckia and monarda when dressing up this Goldenrod forgotten by a little picker today!

Weather report this morning: It's 8:48am, 58 and the berries are great! Come and pick, even late!

These green and white unripe berries are destined for greatness! They will be transformed through alchemical transfiguration into the MidWest Capers for the "Colonel Mustard" pizza at Footjoy Farm and Brewing. I've made my own versions and they are also great with smoked trout dip and on cheese boards and in salads!

Light rain at the patch this morning. Hoping it's done soon, but here is a pic of some Evening Primrose by the barn! It flowers at night, and is pollinated by hawk moths.
