What do you do when you grow so many onions (about 40 pounds)? You make French onion soup and can it.
We use this for many recipes like in soups, beef tips, roast, or anything that needs broth and onion.
It’s so yummy.

Thankful for my understanding husband that tolerates my “go hook up to the trailer” I found our next freezer project and we have to be there in an hour!!!

Since I don’t sell my vegetables from my garden I would suggest you visit this local Tomball farm. I get my corn from here since I don’t grow my own.
I freeze it in the husk and it last forever and is fresh like it just came out of the field.
I love supporting local family farms.

Daily update- Friday June 12th- We have tomatoes (although green they will ripen!!), a little okra left from this mornings picking, squash, cucumbers, potatoes and sweet onions! Going out for smother load of corn 🌽 now!! Will post again when it’s in! Open till 5 today!

Bugs are crazy this year.

My tomatoes are so huge and loaded and are breaking the stems. I’m having to tie them up like crazy. I’m hoping to leave them on a few more days then I may have to pull the big ones. I really like until the get just a hint of blush on them before I pull them. Anyone else having this issue?

These bugs are the worst they will destroy tomatoes fast.
Here I have sucked them up with a little vacuum and dump them in soapy water to kill them.
