Today we had our first linear appraisals done on our little farm and let me just say how much I loved all the feedback and Information! Im new at this and still learning what all these numbers mean but even tho we now know where we need to improve, over all he was very impressed with our girls and says we have a good foundation we are starting with.

Well, today was our little farms not so good day. Since starting our little journey in the goat world in 2020, we have been extremely fortunate and have had all babies delivered alive and healthy and to my knowledge they are all still that way...until today. My Cozy Cami delivered triplets while we were on our way home from lrarning some valuable information at a judges score card clinic when she went into labor. She gave us 2 doelings and a buckling, however sadly, the buckling did not make it. I am so grateful for my husband and youngest daughter for handling the situation and burying the little guy before I made it home. I think it made it easier not seeing the him but man it sure still sucks! Rest easy little guy!

Ok all my goat people. I have a simple pulse milking machine however, I have the longer inflations and in need of the shorter ones for my NDs. Before ordering them thru the company, I thought I would ask if anyone has a pair they would have for sale. Im near Tomball and can pay for shipping if need.

Me: I want a baby cow
Him: but they get big
Me: no I want a mini baby! I need a trio!
Him: whats a trio?
Me: 2 girls and 1 boy so we can make more babies to sell.
Him: but do u know how much thatss gonna cost?
Me: yea, its an investment 🤣
Him: yea thats like $10000!
Me: yea but we can make out money back within 2 years and after that its profit. Businesses usually take 5 years so Thats a good turnaround!

Is it convincing enough? We shall see! 🤣

Im about to just go crazy! I have watched this girl breed 4times and yet she is still not pregnant!!! Wth is going on? Can a goat be sterile? I guess i will have to try the pen breeding for a week or 2 and hope that helps! But hey congrats to the 2 that are pregnant!
