Mcleod's Urban Farms

We are in our first season of producing high-quality naturally grown microgreens which we are excited to deliver to restaurants, grocers, homes, and farmers markets. We began our farm with the thought of bringing an innovative and sustainable model of urban agriculture to the Greater Houston area. le, our microgreens production system can operate all year in less than 1000 square feet! Instead of constantly battling the outdoor elements, our greens are grown in an environmentally protected indoor facility that allow for year round production. Founded as McLeod's Urban Farms by Geoff Thimons in late 2014, McLeod's Urban Farms is set to debut it's first growing season in Spring 2015. Together, Geoff and his wife Kelsey are excited about their first season as Houston's premier microgreens specialists! Geoff Thimons has formally been involved in urban agriculture since 2010 as a hobby farmer, gardener, educator, advocate, and overall health nut. In 2013, Geoff and his wife Kelsey began their farming ventures with great success and decided to turn farming into a full-time career. While the farm grows, Geoff can be found working at Plants For All Seasons answering questions about soils, herbs, veggies, and such. When he isn't obsessing over plants and running the farm, Geoff spends time with his family and friends doing everything from walking his dogs to hiking nature trails, collecting old relics, reading, and practicing martial arts.
