The bottle caught our eye. The wine made us love it even more.

Meet Antico Monastero Moscato dā€™Asti DOCG, a beautiful Italian Moscato from Piemonte made with 100% Moscato grapes.

Lightly sparkling, sweet and smooth, it has delicate fruit and floral notes with just 5.5% alcohol. Serve it well chilled and enjoy it as an aperitivo, pour it alongside aged cheeses and fruit, or save it for dessert. The winery especially recommends it with hazelnut cake, and we can absolutely get behind that.

And thereā€™s a story behind the name. Antico Monastero translates to ā€œAncient Monastery,ā€ a nod to the familyā€™s winemaking history that dates back to an 18th-century monastery and a monk named Valentino who tended the vineyards and made wine there.

Beautiful bottle. Beautiful history. Very easy to pour another glass.

Our Duck Rillettes Pappardelle turns Three Little Pigs Duck Rillettes into a rich, savory pasta sauce with fresh pappardelle, Parmigiano Reggiano, peas and a bright finish of lemon.

The best part? The duck rillettes are already fully cooked, so they simply melt into the warm pasta and pasta water, creating a glossy sauce with very little work.
