Hey friends, I wanted to give everyone a little update.
I came home today to a notice from the City of Tomball regarding my little porch bakery, saying I can't operate this type of home business under their zoning ordinance.

I've honestly never dealt with city ordinances before, so I'm trying to understand what it all means. I'm hoping someone out there may have experience with something similar or might have some advice or guidance on who I should talk to.

This little bakery was never about getting rich. I have a full-time job, and I also help take care of my mom. I started the farm stand simply as a way to supplement my income, doing something I really enjoy.

So, unfortunately, the farm stand may not be open this weekend while I try to understand this notice and figure out what I need to do to comply.
If anyone has experience with Tomball city ordinances, home-based businesses or cottage food businesses, or if you know who I should talk to, I would really appreciate your advice.

Thank you all so much for your support. It really does mean more than you know.
