The Monroe County Conservation District will start signups for the CAIP program on Monday Dec. 9, 2024. The applications can be picked up at the office on 201 W. Paige St. (next to the P.O.) from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. CAIP applications must be turned back in to the office by Friday, Dec. 20, 2024. Friday April 19, 2024 is tree giveaway day. We are open till 4:30 p.m. Silky dogwood trees, Roughleaf dogwood trees, Redbud trees and White Pine. Come by and see us.

The Monroe County Conservation District has 2 Haybuster No-till Drills available for sale. We are accepting sealed bids on 2 drills due by close of business August11th, 2023 by close of business 4:30 pm The mailing address for sealed bids is P.O. Box 700 Tompkinsville, KY. 42167. Pictures of the No-till drills are available on Monroe County Conservation District page or feel free to call or come by with any questions at 2704876589 ext. 3 or to view the drills for sale. The sealed bids will be opened at the August board meeting. If the bid/bids are accepted, the buyer will be notified for pickup information. This sale is NOT absolute.

The Monroe County Conservation District will be doing the annual William Harlin Memorial Tree Giveaway on Friday April 21 from 10:00 am -2:00 pm. The trees to be given are Roughleaf Dogwood, Silky Dogwood, PawPaw, White Pine, River Birch, Flowering Dogwood, and Black Walnut. We are located at 201 W. Paige St. in between Tri County Elec. and the Post Office.

The drill has been returned. The Monroe County Conservation District had a no-till drill removed from the parking lot over the weekend of the 15th-16th without our permission. The drill is #30, if anyone knows of who may have taken the drill or if anyone has any information at all, please call us at 2704876589 ext. 3 Your help is greatly appreciated.
