Started milking Chelsea our Nigerian Dwarf goat doe (the one pictured below). She's the single baby momma to Chestnut. Read a bunch about taking only about 1-2 cups and that's what I'm doing.

Going to wait on Annabell until her babies are a bit bigger. Got to get her a stantion. She won't stand still, unlike Chelsea.

With Tuesday's early am's drop in temperatures, on came the babies! We are excited to introduce our new littles.

Meet lil Ms. Chestnut, Midnight, and Star. That's right we got all girls on the first go-round.

We did the hands-off approach and these mommas are doing awesome. Chelsea (the lighter goat) didn't pass the placenta so we did natural treatment and it worked. She is healthy again and the turn around was quick. No drugs, no vet just blueberries, nuts with selenium that she wanted, and lots of love.
