Inlow Angus Ranch LLC is a Third Generation Ranch started by Carl Inlow SR in 1941. Farmed by Carl his wife Lorraine, Sons Carl JR, Bill and Paul and daughter Joan. The elder boys took jobs off the Ranch and Son Paul started Inlow Angus Ranch. Paul and wife Audrey took over the Ranch about 1970. Carl SR and Lorraine continued be active on the Ranch . Carl SR passed in the early ‘80’s and Lorraine
followed in the mid ‘80’s. During the ‘70’s and ‘80’s the Ranch undertook more growth and development as increased irrigation became available. The Angus Herd also continued to grow to 150 mother cows. Pasture Land was leased in the surrounding areas of Havillah and North Pine Creek areas. This was done so Hay could be put up on the irrigated home place. Paul and Audrey’s son Rob in his late teens decided to leave the Ranch to further his education. Within a year or two the 150 head operation proved to much for one man and was scaled back to 75 head. Other crops were planted on the Ranch, Apples, Pears and Cherries to help diversify the Ranch. The one thing that never changed was Paul’s eye on Livestock. They had to be Growthy, Sound, Docile and had to have the characteristics that would produce a great Calf. Over the Decades we were honored with Calves of Merit as a few of our Steer Calves would end up at the Local Fairs. Paul took Great Pride in knowing that he was producing a high quality Carcass. Rob settled in Moses Lake for 14yrs but worked on the Ranch on a regular basis for Paul. Rob and wife Gina, along with their daughter, Samm, moved up in 2007 to take over the Ranch after the passing of Paul and Audrey. The Ranch continued to grow and prosper with the leasing and purchasing of neighboring properties. Throughout the changes the one thing that has remained constant was the value instilled by Paul that our Cattle must remain proven performers, not only on paper but also on the hoof. That being said you may not see the latest flash in the pan bloodlines, instead we go with what works and what has been proven to work. Our geographical area also aids us in supplying some of the states finest fruits, we are top producers of Honey crisp apples, Granny Smith, Fuji, and Lapin cherries as well as Bosc and Bartlett pears. Look for a "Super Fresh Growers" box in your produce section at the local store, it just might be ours!
