The heat is making a comeback today, so all of our feathered friends are getting a little extra attention and plenty of fresh water. 🐔💦

If you’re spending time outside, take care of yourself the same way you would your flock—stay hydrated, find some shade, and don’t overdo it.

Around here, the birds are already up and busy, trying to get everything done before the afternoon heat rolls in. What’s everyone else’s plan for beating the heat today?

Good morning from the coop crew ☀️🐥

The babies are up early, the feeders are already getting emptied, and everybody’s enjoying what might be one of the nicest mornings we’ll get before summer really settles in here 😅

We’re soaking up the cooler weather while we can — because we all know those Arizona temps are about to come in HOT. Until then, the chicks are happy, the quail are busy, and the farm chaos is running right on schedule 🖤

The feeders are full, the babies are noisy, and somebody around here already escaped their pen before breakfast. Farm life keeps us humble. 😂

Good morning from The Chick Cradle!

This week’s homestead adventure included building goat pens in Arizona heat while the goats supervised like tiny unpaid managers. 🐐☀️

Somewhere between hauling panels, sweating through our clothes, and chasing escaped “helpers,” we realized farm life may be chaotic… but we wouldn’t trade it for anything. ❤️

The babies are growing, the feed bills are rising, and somehow there’s always one goat standing exactly where you need to work. 😅

We’re taking a much-needed family lake day today to soak up some sunshine, make memories, and enjoy a little break before jumping back into business tomorrow! 🌊☀️

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, we hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and fun holiday weekend with family and friends. Please remember to stay hydrated, wear that sunscreen, and be careful out there in the heat! 💦🧢
