When you hear the words "Living the Dream" what do you think of? Is it comfortable? Is it easy? Is it effortless? For me, living the dream means that each and every day I strive to do a little bit better, to be a little bit better and to make a mark that makes someone somewhere feel a little bit better.

For two years, I have been striving to meet these goals as I build a business that has success that makes me feel like I am doing exactly what I am called to do and meant do do. It is hard work. It is determination. It is self discipline. It is Hard! But, every second is worth it and tonight I was reminded that I am not walking this journey alone. People see me. People support me. People are rooting for me. And some even want to recognize me. I am grateful for these moments which I have experienced this week. The very first, inaugural class of Mama T’s Junior Jammers had their Certification Ceremony tonight!, These girls really killed it. They Mastered fruit pairing, jam making, branding, and developing a story behind their flavor, and then topped it all off with a fantastic Junior Jammers market day at the downtown Topeka farmers market where they sold out of every jar they had available to sell! This is a three level class, they just completed Junior jammers, 101 and most of them are ready to sign up for Junior jammers, 102.

This class was for kids aged 10 to 14. The next class I’m offering in addition to Junior Jammers level 102, is the Lil Jammers class. Lil Jammers is for kids aged seven, eight, and nine. They won’t be making jam, but they will be learning how to make snacks and appetizers with jam.

They’re gonna learn that jam is for more than just toast and biscuits. They make treats and share them with their families! More details, coming when these classes are scheduled, and then we will just keep on jammin’!
