Our day began with another beautiful Grow Food for Good garden bed finding its home and creating a welcoming space at the Beverly COA where neighbors will gather, plant, learn, and grow together. 🌱

From the lumbar, labor, to hauling multiple bags of Coast of Maine Organic Products, Inc. raised bed soil mix to the smiles received by passing visitors, the day was filled with an abundance of joy! Once again reminding us that gardens nourish not only from the food grown in these spaces ~ gardens cultivate connections, build relationship, and bring us together to enjoy the great outdoors in meaningful ways. ✨

We are endlessly grateful to Cedar Rock Gardens for their generous seedling donations to the BCOA and to the BCOA for applying to Coast of Maine's free soil program and receiving their generous gift!

Abundant thanks as well to our builder, Those Pesky Projects, and Mass Hydroponics for their continued behind-the-scenes support of our GFG garden program.

Think local. Support local. Together, we can plant seeds of kindness and grow stronger, healthier communities. πŸ’š

Another Grow Food for Good garden bed has been given to our neighbors at the Beverly Council on Aging and Senior Community Center🌱

Seeing everyone gathered around the garden bed planting together in these photos is such a beautiful reminder of our mission ~ gardens grow so much more than vegetables and flowers β€” they grow spirituality, build relationships, and environmental awareness.

We can't do this on our own! We’re incredibly grateful to our friends who have donated to us, for Cedar Rock Gardens generous seedling donations, Coast of Maine Organic Products, Inc. with their free soil program, Mass Hydroponics for their continued support behind the scenes of our GFG garden program. πŸ’š

We look forward to seeing the BCOA's community grow with the joy surrounding it for many seasons! β˜€οΈ

This past Monday, another beautiful Grow Food for Good garden came to life at a Northeast Arc group home, bringing excitement, joy, and new opportunities right into the residents’ backyard. πŸŒ±πŸ’š

The raised beds were thoughtfully placed just off the patio, creating easy breezy accessibility for residents using wheelchairs and walkers so everyone can experience the simple joy of gardening together. πŸ₯•

Residents and caretakers were overjoyed as this space instantly became more than just a garden β€” it became a place to gather, build relationships, work side-by-side, and spend meaningful time outdoors through the spirit of giving and community. β˜€οΈ

A heartfelt thank you to Those Pesky Projects for the incredible handyman skills that helped bring this garden to life, to Coast of Maine Organic Products, Inc. for their generous free soil donation, Cedar Rock Gardens for their donation of cold-tolerant tomato plants to kick start the garden, to Mass Hydroponics for their assistance with additional Coast of Maine raised bed mix sales and services.

It truly takes a community to help communities grow. πŸ’š

This weekend’s gorgeous weather meant one very important thing for Cleopatra, Munchkin, Sweetie Pie Peaches, Zoey, Vashti, and Peanut β€” outdoor adventure time! β˜€οΈ

The chicks spent their days in their little day-coop soaking up the sunshine, scratching through the fresh green grass, stretching out for tiny sunbaths, and happily snacking on chick starter before taking long sips of cool water. πŸ₯

Every peep and flutter was a reminder of how much joy can be found in the simple things and how quickly these little personalities are growing. πŸ’›

We're looking forward to their participation in our Grow Food for Good egg production program! And sincerely grateful for all the support from the Essex County Co-Op, Acord Food Pantry, Ipswich Council on Aging, and your beautiful relationship with us.πŸ’š
