We have officially started our homeschool year! Math and puzzles this morning. These wooden puzzles are a favorite!

Farmstand customers- my drop offs will be later in the afternoon now so my kids and I can get through some school work in the morning ☺️

The farmstand is now stocked with fresh granola, pepperoni rolls, sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls, banana bread,and scones!
Don’t forget to check out our homemade sprinkles as well! They are made with few ingredients, are naturally gluten free, and free of artificial dyes!

Happy Saturday!
I have baking rack full of bread and scones this morning. Cinnamon rolls are in the oven!
Farmstand peeps…I’ll be making a drop off with all these fresh baked goods around 11:30AM! Cinnamon rolls will still be warm!

Y’all…I had every intention of getting some baked goods down to the farmstand today. I promise I’ll be there tomorrow!
This afternoon turned into a little adventure, that took a little bit of a sad turn.
So Lettie Louise (the dog) found this awesome bird down on our riverbank. She did so well alerting but keeping her distance (I’m so proud!). Google said it was a juvenile osprey! How cool! But it was injured in some way. I made a couple phones calls and was instructed to get a blanket, wrap it up and take it in to the vet office on Oakwood.
My oldest daughter and I did our best to get close enough to catch it. It was right on the edge of the riverbank. Sadly, I didn’t move quick enough and it got spooked enough that it glided its way into the river 🤦‍♀️. Poor bird could only float with the current now.
The kids (who were now incredibly worried) and I jumped into the van and drove to the nearest boat ramp (about a mile away) to hopefully get close enough again.
Sure enough, the bird almost made it to the ramp, but it was on the other side of the river! We couldn’t do a thing 😢.
Not exactly what I expected for a Thursday afternoon.
A couple people from the area have gone that way to check for the bird and unfortunately haven’t found it.

It should be above the upper falls just before the concrete bridge in case anyone would like to check out the riverbank in a kayak.
