With a heavy heart I’m sad to announce Care About This and our team have to withdraw from the makeover. Although I’m heartbroken to not be competing, my horse’s health comes first. I’m so thankful to have found my mare during this journey.

For many Makeover trainers, their journey does not take them down the path they expect. Our first show!
Care About This went to her first ever show at End Of Hunt. She went right in the ring and marched around. She jumped every jump and was great in the flat class with the other horses. Virginia showed her over fences and Katie showed her in the under saddle class. We are so proud of her and how well she handled being in a new environment and the show ring. Nova is truly and amazing horse!

Finally had our first field trip off property!

Nova, JC Care About This, was amazing! She walked off the trailer relaxed and ready to ride. Went right to work in the ring and even jumped her first course! I’m so proud of this mare and how far she has come. Our team has put so much TLC into her and to see her progress and enjoy her new career just fills my heart. Today was Nova’s last ride at Oakendale Farm LLC as a boarder and she did not disappoint! We moved back home today. So thankful for all the time we spent there this winter. I’m excited to have her home and to see that cute face evey morning and night! We will be trailering in sometimes and hopefully boarding there the month before the makeover for a final boot camp. Care About This 🥰
