Today, we carried on George’s tradition of turning out bulls to cover our mature cows on his birthday. He would’ve been 93 today. His beautiful bride, Ruby, would’ve turned 91 on April 21.

Together, those two endured it all - fires, droughts, market crashes, tornados, and more - and stuck it out to build something lasting for their children, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren. We forge on for them, because it’s what they did for us.

Day 4/8 of our 2026 branding was a brisk one compared to last week! These calves are out of some of our mature cows. It’s always a highlight to look at how the calves have bloomed. Roughly 330 down and about 270 to go!
