We spent last weekend at Troy Area Horsemen's Association (TAHA). Saturday was gaming event, Sunday pleasure. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures. (A friend did get a video of Beth's one run on Saturday)
What I can say is if you are looking for a show season with a fun environment, good people, great food definitely come to their next event!!
They have brought back the FUN part of showing. We will definitely be going again.

Day #4 / pack up day. Horse World Expo
Phew, what a amazing time exhausting with our horse friends and horses.
We packed up and got on the road by 11, so we got home at a decent time. Here are some of the last photos we have to share. Also I added the trail challenge pattern so ya'll can look through it.

What a Day!!
We had a early morning with riding and getting last minute things around for the trail challenge. Then we participated in the Trail Challenge. And boy was it a challenging one, some things that you wouldn't think of as hard were definitely a challenge. But over all we are happy with how everyone rode their horses, not necessarily happy with the horses on a few things but you'll have that. Beth placed 6th in youth, Jean took 4th in Novice, and I got 5th in Open. On a side note when we were waiting to go back in for the awards ceremony Smarty decided that the yellow tag on the fire extinguisher was his to eat. Plus during the challenge he tried to eat the tree. Ugh that horse, lol

Day #2 Horse World Expo
We rode in the morning, then shopped, visited with friends, and watched a few clincs. Then this evening we rode outside in the arena before tucking the horses in for the night

Set up day Horse World Expo.
It's been an extremely chaotic day. We got down here around noon, later then we would have like but with the weather it was smart to leave at a later time.
Horses have been ridden, bathed and tucked in for the night. (Smarty is not clean he decided to rolled again)

We've been busy getting ready for the Horse World Expo! The count down is on!
The theme for the trail challenge is REAL heros (First responders, nurses, firefighters, ect)
The Trail Challenge is Saturday March 7, 2026, starting at 9am.
We received order of go.
Beth & Bunny ride 2nd,
Jean & Jackson ride 6th, and
Hilary & Smarty ride 35th.
Also:
I have to say I'm so proud of the dedication and hard work Beth has put in so far as she gets ready. Bunny and Beth are really coming together and I can't wait to see their go at the expo.
Jean and Jackson are absolutely killing it in practice, I'm very excited to watch her ride him.
Smarty and I, are enjoying playing with Robin's obsticles. as long as he stops trying to eat the obstacles, he should do decent.

Our goals for this year: Stay on, Have fun, Improve. 😊

We are heading to the Horse World Expo , Harrisburg PA in March.
We have 3 horses and riders going to participate in the Trail Challenge.
Jean on Jackson, Bethany on Bunny, and Hilary on Smarty.
We will keep you all updated and hopefully post short videos of us practicing.
