We cross with Quarter Horses to get the supple responsiveness.

Spirit's second go in the round pen.

This is Spirit's second work in the round pen. He has a little kick out in the beginning, but he seems to have a handle on the idea of moving out.

Here is Samson moving in the round pen. It's still a little wet and slippery so he slips when he goes into a canter.

Here is Samson walking, trotting, and just about to canter, but the round pen is still wet and slippery. I didn't push him after he lost his footing.
