Up early and on the road before the ☀️; next stop: our first deliveries of the day in NYC and then some stops and meet ups, out East.

Turkeys, vegetables, jams, and these fresh baked pies are sorted for the PickUp PopUp in Valhalla this afternoon at from 2-6pm.

Our second PopUp is in the books for and it was a Grand Slam success! Our pies, jams, and farm fresh meats sold and the preorders have been picked up by our Westchester, Rockland, and NYC friends and customers.

Once again the hospitality of our incredible hosts and their wonderful Crew made it easy to bring the farms’ goodness straight to their downstate neighbors.

The perfect Autumn day had many friends old and new lingering to chat about the farm, sustainable farming, meat, and recipes, as they sampled our pies pies and picked out jams and more meats for their tables.

Special thanks to for the perfect wine pairings list created for the PopUp! We raise a glass to you!

We enjoyed laughter and smiles throughout the day and before we knew it our second PopUp was done and we were sold out. Fueled by coffees and teas, we sold through our supplies and filled an order for more jams to be sold at The Twisted Branch.

Late summer brings a host of daily chores along with planning for the harvest season, on a family farm. Sometimes this means the Fi**ens are sunset picnicking with in the fields, before putting the little farmers to bed.

Honey-Garlic glazed Bone In Pork Chops for dinner tonight.

Happily these chops were in my freezer and I remembered to defrost early today.

The dish takes less than 1/2 an hour to prepare and it is so satisfying!
