Gabby did great with mom all night! She was definitely glad to see me and wanted some cuddles, but i could tell she wanted to go back to mom after our snuggle. I'm so glad we were able to successfully get her back to mom!

So our last mama had her baby last Monday. She's a first time moms and was very protective but didn't seam to be letting the little one nurse. She seamed unsure what to do with it. I milked mom and brought the baby home for the night. My plan was to bring her back in the morning and mom would be amazing and problem solved. Well mom was still not as good as I would have liked, so little Gabby, yes we named her, came back home with me. She stayed with me all night and Rose would pick her up in the morning and she'd stay at the library for a while, Mollie would pick her up and put her with mom when she went to the farm, and I'd check on her and end up bringing her home at night. This went on till today, Saturday, I went to the farm this morning and put Gabby with mom, she's always happy to see her, while I went about my chores. After a few hours I checked on them and Gabby was nursing like a pro! She actually looked up at me and I swear she looked proud of herself! I left her there tonight with her mom, I know its what's best for her, and her and her mom are very happy together, but I miss that little goat! Kind of bitter sweet sending her back to mom. I'm sure she will be visiting the library again soon but for now she's happy with mom at the farm!

We started our farm in April of 2015 with a few goats a donkey and a couple alpacas. Now look at us!!

In April of 2015 I decided to turn my small farm into a business. with help from a few friends it has been a success! each year we do more parties and the goat always impress! With the addition of our long sought for pony we are able to finally do pony rides! We still continue to do volunteer petting zoos for kitty angels, earth day, historical society, and many farmers markets. We have also begun to rescue animals, from bunnies to goats to a mini horse! We hope to continue to give back to our community and put smiles on children's faces for years to come. Thank you to friends and family who helped and encouraged and to all of you for supporting us in this crazy ride!
