Not such a great spring start over here. #%*~\ deer ate some Pulmonaria which was flowering nicely pink and purple against the boring yellow daffodils and they ate any early sprouted verigated Solomon Seal that was up about a foot already. And to top it off the yellow magnolia that suffered scale invasion and sooty mold last year lost all the original flower buds it set now has this pitiful attempt at a second set of “blooms”. 🥺
