The geese spent their first night in the coop with the rest of the chickens and ducks. They were excited to come out and wasted no time jumping into the pond.

And that's a wrap on this process. 45 more chickens in the books.. all hatched, raised and processed right here in Anderson county. Now time to make bags for the cuts. We just keep on keepin on. 🐔

We are hard at work.. it's a chicken day. A good bit of the batch is going to this week. 💚 Go check out their AMAZING restaurant in Pickens under the water tower.

Earlier this evening we were doing some clean up and moved a few grow bags around and found this lizard and its eggs. I didn't know lizards lay eggs. I found it too neat and had to share. We did put this one grow bag back over the nest to allow the eggs to hatch and let nature take its place. 🦎

Today was a beautiful day for a turkey process. We have half turkeys (without the carcass) Legs, thighs, quarters, boneless breasts (with skin on) livers, hearts, gizzards, necks and frames.

We praise the Lord for watching over our farm and animals and giving us this blessing of beautiful pasture raised, non GMO turkey. All glory to you God!! Thank you!🙏🙏🙏

Your farmers are hard at work rain, snow or sunshine.
