📸 Calling all young photographers! 📸

Does your child love taking pictures, getting creative, or learning how a camera works? We’re excited to offer the

Grundy County 4-H Photography Club! 🧡

This club is a great opportunity for youth in 4th–12th grade to gain hands-on experience, learn photography skills, and have fun being creative.

What we’ll explore:
Creative Composition
• The Rule of Thirds
• Lighting (Natural Light and Backlighting)
Hands-on photography activities and workshops

Meeting Dates:
October 9 & 23
November 13 & 20

We’re also excited to have Carla Tate, professional photographer with Running on Faith Photography, joining us as our volunteer instructor!

Whether your child is just picking up a camera for the first time or already loves photography, this is a wonderful chance to learn, create, and build new skills.

4-H membership and participation can be a great way to learn by doing, make friends, and explore new interests!

September is Su***de Awareness Month.

In farming and ranching, we know how easy it can be to get caught up in the long days, the stress, the uncertainty, and everything else life throws our way. Sometimes, the person standing next to us may be struggling more than we realize.

That’s why this month, we want to remind everyone:

Check in on your neighbor. Call your friend. Stop by and have a conversation. You never know how much a simple “How are you really doing?” might mean to someone.

You don’t have to have all the right words. Sometimes, just knowing that someone cares and is willing to listen can make a difference.

A huge thank you to Blake, Zach, Trinity, Hanna, and Luke for helping make this video happen. We truly appreciate each of you for being willing to share your time and your message.

And a VERY special shoutout to Trinity for putting the whole video together and bringing this idea to life. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Let’s look out for one another because sometimes all it takes is one call.
