Someone had a good laugh last Saturday as they dropped these 3 dudes off in our driveway.
I’ll never condone dropping off roosters, but how lucky for these 3.
On the only night I’ve left my home after dark in months, you were left in my driveway scared and alone. You could have been preyed upon, but boy was it your lucky day. You were scooped up, giving shelter, food and water. You’ll get to spend your days free range, living your best rooster lives.
I could not not keep them after the crazy situation.
However, let’s do better! Chickens are a commitment and your responsibility when you sign up for the chicken life. Don’t take the easy route when times get tough. Post them for sale, auction them off, provide food for a family. Anything except toss them out like yesterday’s trash.
