Sipping coffee on a stormy porch has us reflecting. We're looking forward to spreading a little joy this evening at Parks & Petals with Cedar Valley Angels. We've gathered 12 buckets of flowers for donation to create a memorable night for children & families in our local foster community to arrange while enjoying a yummy meal from Urban Pie!

Truthfully, I went back & forth on a hundred or more ideas on if & how I should post but decided on this simple message: find something meaningful to you & do something kind for others.

If you have time, volunteer. If you have financial stability, donate. If you have flowers, let the children make bouquets. 💐 Just be & do kind things.

CVA provides support for foster youth & families in our very own community. With opportunities like Love Box & Dare to Dream mentorship programs, we found CVA represents stability in a moment of life that may feel anything but. This organization means alot to our family & we're grateful for the opportunity to give back this time. For each youth in foster care, this is now their story. For each family providing foster care, they're not likely getting the support they need. During what might be the stormiest days in their stories, let's help make a rainbow.

We're so excited to share our collaboration with an amazing local non-profit with a mission to provide intentional support for youth & families within the foster care community.

We'll be donating cut flowers for a new event, Parks & Petals, for families within the programs to spend a fun evening in the park with amazing food!

We are so excited for our upcoming program event for families in our Love Box® and Dare to Dream® programs this September! 💐

The weather is clearing up, the Iowa State Fair has taken folks outta town so if you're here to support community, come visit all the vendors at Traer Farmers Market! We've all worked hard to be here to serve you fresh locally grown flowers, veggies & homemade goods. From 9-noon, see you soon!
