32 was a bright, beautiful year.

Another trip around the sun.
More adventure filling my soul.
I reflect a lot on my birthday for so many reasons.
The beginning of me.
I constantly hold this day with both
slight grief and infinite gratitude.

Grief for the person who gave me life that I will never know,
but am forever bonded to
through blood and DNA.
Gratitude for whatever selflessness or selfishness
— who really knows —
led me here.
To a life overflowing with abundant love.
Thank you to everyone who made me feel special
today,
and honestly,
every day.
I don’t take this life or the people in it for granted.
Here’s to 33.

🧀🧀🧀🧀GOUDfam, I will never be above some Micky D’s. Say what you want about McDonalds but from my childhood to now- every road trip I’ve been on, every state I’ve been to, country I’ve visited- McDonalds has been there. Sooo it’s been a full circle moment getting to work alongside McDonalds and get to attend the launch of their new refreshers and dirty sodas. We got to hear a little bit of Mike’s, the owner of the Penn Hills location we were at, story which all resolved around his love for his family and keeping nostalgia alive.

But let’s talk about these refreshers and dirty sodz-
🍓 Strawberry Watermelon Refresher- blends sweet strawberry and watermelon flavors with a lemonade base, plus freeze‑dried strawberries—this one made me wanna sit by a pool in the sun.
🥭 Mango Pineapple Refresher- mixes tropical mango and pineapple flavors with a lemonade base and strawberry popping boba—this one gave beach day energy with a lil pop, yall know I love boba.
🍹Blackberry Passion Fruit Refresher- pairs bold blackberry and passion fruit flavors with lemonade alongside freeze‑dried dragon fruit- I really enjoyed the freeze dried dragon fruit in this one- it was tart yet still sweet.
🫐Sprite® Berry Blast infuses Sprite® with a sweet blue raspberry syrup – topped off with decadent cold foam- this is where the nostalgia started to hit- reminded me of an elevated blue bug juice and I loooove anything with cold foam.
🍊 Orange Dream is a twist on the fan-favorite Hi‑C® Orange Lavaburst at McDonald’s mixed with a hint of vanilla flavor and finished with cold foam- if you like creamsicles or orange soda, this is your guy.
🥤 Dirty Dr Pepper® layers classic Dr Pepper® flavor with a vanilla flavor and a cloud of cold foam- Dr. P lovers- REJOICE!

My top three were all the refreshers tbh but I will say I love a tart drink and they all leaned more on the tart side- but who doesn’t dig a dirty soda once in a while too 😉

🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀GOUDfam, I had the sweetest Sunday spending it with Glam Picnics. Lisa invited us out to the West End Overlook to see what GP is all about and they truly delivered. I’ve been trying to add more whimsy to my life and this was the perfect first step. The attention to detail was to be admired. Every piece of decor, cushion to sit on, blanket, bite to eat was set with intention and commitment to the theme.

We also got to paint lil champagne glasses which was such a sweet activity. I painted lil bumble bees on mine, of course. Not only does Glam Picnics set the stage for a perfect girls day, they also do kids parties, birthdays, date nights- you name the celebration or occasion and they are ready. 🧀🧀🧀🧀🤍A few weeks ago were invited to check out the menu at Pre Amps new pop up menu ‘Double Play’ and GOUDfam we hit a home ruuun. I have only ever personally tried the fries and drinks since the last time I went the sandos were out but since I’ve heard incredible things about the food I was ecstatic to give it a go. We got the fries with miso honey mustard sauce- my personal fave, cowboy ranch and chipotle aioli. I think the miso ranch followed by the chipotle aioli were the move. The cowboy ranch was a little lighter than I expected. Then we tried the chili cheese dog Which was pretty good. A classic. No big frills. But the absolute star of the show? That BBQ burg. Listen, hearing a coffee shop had burgs n dogs was a little confusing at first but knowing the reputation of the food at preamp is highly favorable I was alllll in. And this bbq burger answered my prayers. When I say it was cheesy, juicy, saucy, crispy- I mean it. We were tempted to order another. This burger was a prayer answered esp bc I had been craving a smash burger like crazy recently. Then onto the drinks - we got the Pre Amp’s Strawberry Soda with syrup made in house. It was light, bubbly and refreshing. Then came the one that took me by surprise. The reverb. Nitro coffee x homemade spiced pineapple syrup. This is a combo I never would’ve created on my own but it was shockingly good. Refreshing, bitey I felt like I needed a beach chair. Thank you so much to pre amp and Danny for having us back. 💅🏻Korean Lash Lift & Tint

🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀GOUDfam, I used to be hyperfixated on my lashes because I truly believe lashes can elevate your appearance without much effort. I’ve tried it all- lash extensions, tints, lifts, faux lashes, different mascaras- but when I tell you nothing has looked quite as natural and GOUD as what magic Erica worked- I mean it. When I saw post about her experience and results, I booked with Erica immediately. I will say I do have decent lashes (and I better bc I’ve used damn near every lash serum in the book) but since I am naturally blonde and my lashes aren’t super curly naturally it takes a hope and a prayer to actually see them without mascara. The (not Korean) tints and lifts I’ve had in the last were…underwhelming and I was dishing out shillings for much of the same. This? Yeah, I’ll be back. The process is easy and not irritating to the eyes which tg bc I have very sensitive eyes. Aaaand the results. Woooooof. I’m in love. On top of that Erica was awesome and i’m convinced there’s nothing better than a tea sesh with your lash tech. It’s easy, affordable, and she said normally people don’t rebook for 6-8 weeks. Sooo that’s for me.

This week, we were invited to the NFL Draft Creator Tailgate,
hosted by Gov. Josh Shapiro and Visit Pennsylvania,
surrounded by the beautiful stadium, bright lights, and unforgettable moments.

And yes—
the draft amphitheater, the activations, the energy and magnified glass on the city that bleeds black and gold…
it’s all incredible.

But Pittsburgh,
you’ve never been about just the spotlight.
You’re about the coffee shops tucked into quiet corners,
the family-owned restaurants that remember your name,
the bars that feel like home before you even order your first drink.

Because whether you were born here,
found your way here,
or you’re just passing through…
it only takes a few minutes to understand
what makes this city unforgettable.

We always say- everyone in pittsburgh is only one degree of separation from the next person and it really couldn’t be more true.

Pittsburgh is a big blended beautiful family.

So while the world is watching the Draft, and many of them made their way over to our “little” big city.
