The ARA rodeo season wrapped up last night. AFR 58 was a huge success for Braydon Morrow who was able to finish out his season with a great finals. He rode all three of his horses and ended up the finals and year end champion. We are gonna rest up for a day or two and start preparing for ACA finals. We will be headed to Searcy, AR Friday and Saturday night to finish us up and put this season in the books. Come out and catch the show if you happen to be in the area.

Braydon Morrow and I have traveled far and wide this year for rodeos. When we weren’t traveling for rodeos he was home holding down a full time job and practicing every night working to get better. He also has put in countless hours helping Korie Brileyann and Maycee Hicks with their horses and rodeo dreams. His climb over the past couple of years has been steady and although progress never moves as fast as you want it to he is moving forward. This year he set a goal to be 80 points and he got there. He rode some rank horses all across Texas and I can’t even begin to tell you how proud I personally am of all he has accomplished. It’s one thing to chase rodeo but to do it while also doing everything else he is doing in the background that very few see makes him an amazing man and one I’m proud to know and soon call my son in law. Keep riding and keep chasing your dreams and I’ll keep helping you pull those rigs tight all the way to the top!! You just have to keep helping me hold horses and all the other things that come with being involved with barrel racers in return. Love you Braydon kick ass tonight at finals!!

Korie Brileyann and Reno continued their journey and ended the season up with another smooth run. He did so well this year and she took care of him every step of the way. They really found their groove and became so confident and consistent. Korie clocked right where she has been all season.(just out of the money) Now we go into the off season and work to build on their consistency by adding that little by bit of speed she was finding at the end of last season when he slipped and came up lame. Last year was a tough off season with his injury and the realization that Frenchie couldn’t carry us where we wanted to go. This year we go into the off season healthy and with both girls having horses that make them a threat. Time to build on this season and take another step toward some major goals.
